Dear Reader,

Solar energy continues to shock with its meteoric rise, stymying forecasters who consistently underestimate its growth. Energy insider Nat Bullard has this to say about it: โ€œEvery year this decade, the International Energy Agency (IEA) has had to revise its solar deployment forecasts upwards. And not just by small amounts. Actual installations have been as much as three times higher than the agency predicted five years ago.โ€

Bill McKibben (read Bluedotโ€™s interview with the climate icon here) has called the rise of solar energy one of the most overlooked stories. In a Substack column he titled โ€œSilent Solar,โ€ McKibben wrote that โ€œSolar panels have, over the last months, suddenly gotten so cheap that theyโ€™re now appearing in massive numbers across much of the developing world. Without waiting for what are often moribund utilities to do the job, business and home owners are getting on with electrifying their lives, and doing it cleanly.โ€

Need some more sunny news? Solar panels are now mandatory over parking lots in France

Curious about solar power for your homeโ€™s use? Check out Bluedotโ€™s โ€œPanel Discussionโ€ for answers to common questions. And tap EnergySage for quotes from reputable solar installers near you.

On this Feel-Good Friday, the future looks bright, folks! The solar train shows no signs of slowing down.

Radiantly,

Dot

Gold can be a solid bet in uncertain times

Investors have historically turned to gold because of its stability. Gold can act like a safety net in your portfolio because its value tends to stay afloat โ€“ even when the stock market dives. Itโ€™s also considered a hedge against inflation, meaning its value can rise as the buying power of cash goes down. Science Links Mitochondria & Muscle Strength

Timeline Ad

As we age, our muscles naturally lose mass, strength, and functionality, which can lead to fatigue and weakness beginning as early as our 30s. Recent studies indicate that our mitochondriaโ€”the cellular powerhouses that generate 90% of our energyโ€”play a crucial role in this decline, contributing to reduced muscle function as we age. A new way to support and improve muscle health as we age, Mitopureยฎ by Timeline is clinically shown to meaningfully boost our mitochondrial health to improve muscle strength and endurance, without any change in exercise required.

Ready to feel stronger, for longer with Mitopure? Bluedot Living readers can take 30% off their first month with code NEWSLETTER30 for a limited time. While supplies last.
