Dear Reader,
On my bed is a quilt, lovingly made for me in the 1960s by my grandmother and great aunt from scraps of fabric. It is a sunny yellow and the design is what’s called a “starburst” and I still adore it so many years after it was given to me because there is care sewn into every inch.

Loose Ends was created in 2023 when the founders took note of how often they were asked to finish a project, due to sickness or disability or death, knowing, as they put it, how much it means to wear something or use something created by a loved one.
